  1. Ron Eggert - Chief Executive Officer of Inspira

    As a key decision-maker, Ron’s short and long-term approach has been a keyRonEggert to Inspira’s growth over the last 18 months. His role currently has him assisting in day-to-day operations while always keeping an eye on big picture initiatives.

    Before joining ABG Capital in 2006, Ron’s career history included both public accounting and financial consulting. After obtaining a B.A. in Accounting from Robert Morris University, he worked for Big Four accounting firm Ernst & Young until 2001. From there, he gained invaluable experience at start-up company InterScope Technologies, serving as their CFO.

    Always more than a spectator, Ron enjoys flying model airplanes, participating in politics, and playing sports.


  1. Lowell Smith - President and Founder of Inspira

    Lowell SmithLowell has nearly 30 years of experience in the retirement and financial services industry. During his career, Lowell’s experience includes: managing a daily valuation recordkeeping operation; managing complex systems-development projects; designing and implementing website strategies; developing products and services for financial organizations; managing a compliance practice; and developing financial services and consulting firms.

    Prior to founding Inspira, Lowell was a primary architect in the development and implementation of retirement start-up, Invesmart, Inc. Prior to joining Invesmart in 1999, Lowell was a Senior Consultant and Director of Operations Consulting for Universal Pensions, Inc. (UPI/Ascensus).

    Lowell worked nine years in Washington, D.C. for the ERISA enforcement-arm of the U.S. Department of Labor. Lowell has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Benefits Council and is the former National President of the Worldwide Employee Benefits Network (WEB).

    In addition, Lowell has instructed for both the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and Certified Financial Planning (CFP) programs through Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA.

    Lowell is a 1981 cum laude graduate of Catawba College and received his M.P.A. from the Pennsylvania State University in 1983.
